- 6-8 Hours of Enrichment Classes Per Week
- Monday's: Math Enrichment - Daily practice with proven results programs and tools such as IXL and BeastQuest
- Tuesday's: Reading & Writing Enrichment - Reading comprehension tools and assessments for students that will allow them to read narrative, informative, or informational literary passages and answer corresponding comprehension questions, while tracking student performance.
- Wednesday's: Critical Thinking - Enhances language and presentation skills. Thinking clearly and systematically can improve the way we express our ideas. In learning how to analyze the logical structure of texts, critical thinking also improves comprehension abilities.
- Thursday: The Art of Story Telling - Brings exciting exploration of culture and creativity to the classroom. Introduces children to a variety of art forms and modes of expression by allowing students to creatively express themselves through writing. Students will learn how to develop the main idea, characters, story lines & plots, & create a short story.
- Fun Friday's: Fun activities while they learn- Games, Bees and more!
- Everyday - Cursive Writing: Benefits of good handwriting practice: increased brain activation; improved performance across all academic subjects, especially in language activities such as spelling; providing a strong foundation for higher order skills.
