SAT English Teacher for Summers and Weekends (Part-Time)

JOB DESCRIPTION

Ramana Coaching Center is seeking for an experienced English part time teacher to teach reading/writing portions of SAT during weekends. Teachers must teach the classes in-person at our facility in University area in Charlotte, NC 28262. We provide very consistent and flexible scheduling. Tutors can expect a predictable bi-weekly pay. Teachers must be available on at least one day in the weekend. We pay anywhere from $30 to $40 an hour. We are looking for highly skilled, motivated, versatile, dependable, and dynamic individuals who have strong communication skills and become part of this exciting journey into the future with us.
We prefer local candidates only.

SCREENING PROCESS

• Must submit cover letter
• Must demonstrate English teaching skills via in-person demo

MUST HAVE

• At least 5 years of experience teaching English language arts subject
• Strong vocabulary and grammar knowledge
• Strong references
• Taught English subject either in middle school or high school settings
• English essay grading experience

PLUSES

• SAT/ACT teaching experience
• Certified teachers

JOB TYPE
